I created this piece for my grandpa’s wake, rosary, and funeral. It was a hard piece to create in the middle of everything, but it was my way of helping out and also allowed me to release a lot of emotional build up. Also, I think as a designer the process greatly effects the end work. It was a privilege to hear the stories of each picture when I collected them from family members. I try and take this same approach with clients to get beneath the surface and start to get a deeper understanding of them and thus create a piece that is not gimmicky or cheesy.
